Call to Prayer Publications

Bism-illah Hir rahman Ir rahim

I bear witness that there is no God but Allah and bear witness that Sayyedina Muhammad is His Messenger.

I would like to welcome you to this Islamic
 programme ‘Call to Prayer’.

0‘O you who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam. And hold fast, all together, to the Rope of Allah, and be not divided among yourselves;    (Surah Ale Imran, 3, 102-103)

All Praise belongs to Allah (subhan hu wa ta’ala) and blessings upon Sayyidina Rasul-Allah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) through their rank, we have received what Allah (swt) has bestowed.

Call to Prayer

I began my humble effort to promote Islam in 2005 with ‘Call to Prayer Publications’ after much thought and reflection. The state of Islamic affairs whether on a state level or personal level have deterioted to such a low level that it brings great grief and concern. ‘Call to Prayer’ is a journey of reflection and we reflect on the causes before seeking the remedies.

Muslims are today in a permanent state of detioration, we have been degraded and are in state of defeat yet fail to understand the seriousness of the condition we are in. Upon reflection, our religion seems to be on the rise however, after all there are more mosques around the world than ever before and more madrassahs are opening all the time. So many Islamic channels being broadcasted then why has our knowledge and our level of faith gone to such a low level that we are imitating people from other faiths or are following the numerous deviant sects who are passing themselves as the representatives of Islam.

The answer is apparent if only we paused to reflect. We do believe that there is no god but Allah, and it is Only Allah Whom we worship but we no longer reflect upon the other half of the Kalima, in which we bear witness that
‘Muhammadur Rasulullah’. That Sayyidina Muhammad (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) is the Messenger of Allah. Not was but Is the Messenger of Allah.

Have we grasped the ‘Rope of Allah’ or even recognised where this rope is?

What has divided the Muslim Ummah and how will we become or maybe have already become divided into the seventy three different sects, with only One sect destined for Paradise?

Have we yet understood that no sect has this ‘rope of Allah’ hanging in the courtyard of their mosque but this ‘rope’ is the beloved Messenger of Allah and the Noble Word that Allah (swt) revealed upon the heart of His most beloved (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam).

To know, to love and to honour the Best of all Creation
(salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam)

"Pass on knowledge from  me even if it is only one Verse". (Hadith from ‘the beloved Prophet (sallallaahu  alayhi wa ale hi Wasallam).

This is the vision of ‘Call to Prayer Publications’, to introduce all Muslims and Non-Muslims to the esteemed rank of Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam). This is the very base of Islam and the work of rasulallah.info is to bring together and present beautiful knowledge of the one from whom all inward and outward beauty began and finished.

The blessed companions (Ra) only received the completed Book of Guidance; Al’Qur’an after 23 years. Within this time the revelations to pray, to fast, to pay Zakat, to perform pilgrimage were revealed gradually but the very roots of their belief and their practice was to testify on the Oneness of Allah (swt) and to know completely, love fully and honour with their lives everything that Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) brought. The true believers who every Muslim aspires to follow only loved and knew Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) and this is how they seeked the pleasure of Allah (swt). Even when we take the shahadah, the testimony that we bear witness that
‘There is no-one worthy of worship other than Allah (swt)’, we are only testifying on the basis of the testimony of Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam). We have not witnessed Allah (swt) but witness what our beloved Messenger (salla lahu ayahi w’ale hi wasallam) brought to us.

Allah (swt) has ordered us to take from the Messenger (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) and that’s why the revelations of His Noble Word, only became the Qur’an when spoken by the most blessed tongue of Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam). Allah (swt) is the Creator and the ultimate goal for the believers but Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) is the path of everything in Islam.

‘Whatsoever the Messenger giveth you, take it. And whatsoever he forbiddeth, abstain from it and keep your duty to Allah’ .

Surah 59, 7)

We have neglected to know and follow what Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) brought and therefore we do not know how to love Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) and do not have complete adab when mentioning the beloved Prophet (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam). This is why we have been reduced to nothing because we have dis-obeyed and disrespected the one for whom Allah (swt) raised the heavens and brought the entire creation into existence.  This mission that we have is to serve Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) by passing on the knowledge of the most elevated of ranks, to as many as possible. This is in different forms which include the Quranic revelations, authentic study of Hadith, the work of great scholars and we also bring beautiful praise and poetry written in honour of the one Allah (swt) Has praised as Muhammad  - the most praised, salla lahu alayhi wa'ale hi wasallam.

‘they will take our religion away from us by simply removing the light of Sayyidina Muhammad (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) from our hearts’.

Allamah Iqbal (Rh)

Lets talk about the Prophet (SAW)

When we undertake any study into the esteemed rank and the unparalleled qualities and attributes of Sayyidina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam), we need to bear in mind that this study is only the beginning. If we were to commit every minute of our lives, in fact even if we had several lives to undertake such work, it would never be sufficient in capturing the rights of Al Mustafa – the chosen one.

Therefore the work of rasulallah.info, through its diversity only attempts to enlighten you with the beginning of this most noble task and only merely introduces you to the reality of Sayyidina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam). The Muslim Ummah, no longer recognises the tremendous rank of Sayyidina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) and have lost all adab – etiquette with the Final Messenger (saw).

The works of the great scholars of the past have largely been overlooked with the emergence of so many different sects causing confusion and strife. The majority of study within Islam is to study tafsir of the Noble Qur’an and studying Ahadith, yet the most blessed of all creation from whom both the Qur’an and Ahadith have been taken, remains distant from our minds.

Within rasulullah.info, you will find careful studies of Qur’anic verses based on the rights and attributes of
Sayyidina Khatum’ul Ambiya, we have also undertaken study of authentic books of Hadith based on the description of Sayyidina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam). This work has been included based on teachings and writings of the great scholars who have the greatest qualification to explain and expand on the authentic Islamic literature available. The work of poetry, which has also been largely neglected by the majority in recent times has also been used so that we understand through this beautiful medium the praised station of our beloved Messenger (SAW). To study poetry is part of the Sunnah, in fact Sayyidina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) would encourage this and poetry was traditionally used to spread Islam.

Did We not Exalt you in your fame. (94:4)

I have been inspired to undertake research on our beloved Messenger (SAW), based on my own transition from someone who had a casual interest in Islam to becoming someone who is trying to commit himself to practising and inviting others to our beautiful deen. This inspiration came from dreams of being close to Sayyidina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) and through the teachings of my most knowledgeable shaykh. To believe in and understand the supreme attributes and matchless rank of the one most beloved to Allah (swt), who is Sayyidina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam), is a matter of our aqeedah. Aqeedah, is defined as being the very essence of our faith, the basis of everything that we believe and accept as being the truth. The foundation of Islam, includes all the different branches of faith which make up the doctrine of our religion but our aqeedah is what enables us to embrace everything from the Qur’an and Sunnah with true belief.

To believe that Sayydina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) is beyond any error, the most complete like no-one else, made from the purest elements and contains everything that is pure and free from all blemish and fault. The best of creation, the best there is and could have been, in few words, Sayyidina Imam ul’Ambiya Hasrat Muhammad (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) is everything except being THE LORD, is not THE LORD but is everything else. This is our belief, our aqeedah, the very Doctrine of our Noble faith.

Defending our Messenger (SAW)

There have been growing campaigns by the enemies of Islam to try to attack the beloved Messenger (SAW), they are trying to shake the foundations of our beliefs by scandalising elements of our faith and are trying to bring doubts into OUR minds about the esteemed rank of the beloved Messenger (SAW). The shameful caricatures and other sites attacking our Prophet (SAW) have been created by anti-Islamic activists to dis-credit the beloved Messenger (SAW), and in the process bring down our religion. These attacks are very carefully planned and orchestrated with the perpetrators knowing that our love and belief in the Seal of all Messengers, is central to our beliefs .  However these attacks are fruitless, in the same way as the attempts of the pagan Arabs who tried to accuse Sayyidina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) of things from which Allah (swt) had protected Sayyidina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) from. The deception of our opponents is to approach us with aspects of the worldly life of our beloved Messsnger (SAW) and try to bring doubt into our minds. Once we have been deceived by these conspirators, into believing that Sayyidina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) as being ‘just a man’, in effect we have accepted the darkness of kufr as being our destiny.
We cannot enter into any discussion with those deviant people whether from our religion or not, who try to show error or blemish in the supreme rank of the one whose praise has been exalted by Allah (swt). Allah (swt) states in the Noble Qur’an ‘And We exalted your fame’.

Therefore believing quite simply that Sayyidina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) is free from all fault and blemish, the one who came in the form of man but is not like us and is the Messenger of all creation. This basic belief will guard us against any accusation hurled by the deviant and corrupt people. To believe this and remain steadfast to this belief requires us to elevate our love and closeness to Sayyidina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa'ale hi wasallam) and this comes from educating ourselves with the correct aqeedah.

When Sayyidina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) went on the physical and spiritual journey of Miraaj, the enemies of Islam like Abu Jahl approached the faithful followers such as Sayyidina Abu Bakr Siddique (Ra). Abu Jahl tried to shake the belief of Hasrat Abu Bakr Saddique by staying that how can someone go to Jerusalem and the heavens and return in one night. The answer given by the ‘Saddique’ was that if Sayyidina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) says this, then ofcourse it is true. May Allah (swt) grant us even one percent of the Emaan that the great companions (RA) possessed.

Preserving the Sunnah

Finally, we need to read and study the authentic books of hadith and take the judgements from the great Ulama and not just books written by preachers who have no claim to scholarly knowledge. The research is ours, so pursue knowledge of the chosen one, study work by Sayyidina Shaykh Muhammad al Yaqoubi al Hasani, study books like ‘Ash-Shaam-il Muhammadiyah’ by Imam Tirmidhi (Rh) and ‘
Kitab Ash-shifa bi Ta'rif Huquq al-Mustafa’ by Imam Qadi Iyad.

rasulallah.info, you will find references to great scholars and authentic books written with the correct aqeedah. Please continue your study and by doing so, you will be serving the Most Praised example ever bestowed upon mankind, that example is of Sayyidina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam). To acquire knowledge of our blessed Messenger (SAW) will bring us close to the love and recognition of our beloved Prophet (SAW). Preserving the Sunnah, is embracing the way of Sayyidina Rasulullah (salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) and adopting each aspect of the blessed Sunnah in our lives. This is the only way in which we can reach the Pleasure and obtain the Pardon of Allah (swt). Allah (swt) Who is the Lord of Everything is Raising the Rank of His Most beloved; Sayyidina Rasulullah (Salla lahu alayhi wa’ale hi wasallam) with each moment that has ever passed from the time when moments were created.
